WELCOME TO FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ILARO

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics was established in October 2013 in the School of Pure and Applied Sciences. The department runs the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics. It is designed to provide meaningful job opportunities for students to integrate knowledge gained during academic coursework in professional nutrition and dietetics settings. Summary of Profile

Nutrition and Dietetics Lecturer with 22 years of teaching experience, including 11 years in secondary education and 11 years at the tertiary level. My research focuses on Public Health and Community Nutrition, food fortification, food formulation and standardisation, and recipe development and testing.  I am committed to student-centered teaching, curriculum development, and mentoring students to become competent, research-driven nutrition professionals. I work effectively in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams and contribute to departmental growth through teaching, research, and service.
