All the listed schools have the programmes in their various Departments accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
It was established in 1979 and was mandated to provide training leading to the award of a Bachelor of Technology Degree and other degrees in some Core Engineering disciplines.
It aims to train students in technology-based skills, on the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Program.
