FPI WINS FIFTY-THREE MILLION AND THREE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-ONE THOUSAND NAIRA TETFUND NATIONAL RESEARCH FUND (NRF) GRANTS

The Federal Polytechnic Ilaro has won 2 additional NRF Grants, valued at N53,321,103, for the 2023/2024 call, making the total number of NRF grants recorded so far by the Institution to be 3.

It could be recalled that 12 submissions were made at the last call for Concept Notes’ submission last year after the Train-the-Trainers Workshop organized by the Grant Proposal Submission Committee, headed by Dr Mrs Jumoke Soyemi.
Three out of the proposals scraped through to the Proposal stage and two out of the final proposals submitted made it to finals for physical defense in Abuja. The good news is that the 2-proposals defended in Abuja came out successful with grant approval letters. This is a lofty feat to the Institution as a whole, as we continue to write the name of the Institution in gold.
