FEDERAL POLYTECNIC ILARO ORGANISES A 2-DAY (GIFMIS) TRAINING PROGRAMME
The Federal Polytechnic Ilaro is currently organizing a two2- day sensitization/training program on the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) for concerned staff of the institution.
The purpose of this training is to sensitize staff of the Bursary, Audit, Store and Procurement Units on the current trends on GIFMIS platform.
The Rector of the institution, Dr. M. A Akinde, FCA, ACTI, ably represented by the Deputy Rector, TPL Lukman Lasisi reiterates the importance of staff training.
He explained that the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro is so passionate about the training of staff to make them effective and efficient in carrying out their duties.
According to him, the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro is devising all legitimate means to be at the peak of professionalism,
adding that Ilaro is known for high quality, not only in students output but also in the quality of staff.
He enjoined every participant to take advantage of the training to improve themselves productively, both in official and personal endeavours.
The Resource Persons drawn from the Federal Ministry of Finance and Office of the Accountant General includes Mrs Nnorom Grace and Mr Akinrinde Ayodele respectively.
Present at the event are the Bursar of the institution, Mr.M.B Akinola FCA and other members of staff.
