WELCOME TO FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ILARO

The Federal Polytechnic was established on July 1979. It opened for operation with students at the Temporary Site, Anglican Grammar School, Ilaro. The Department of Business Administration was the first to be established in the School of Management Studies headed by Mr. Olusegun Odunsi as the Pioneer Head of Department (1979 - 1992). The second Head of the Department was Mr. C. O. Adebari (1992 -2002). Mr. G. O. Ajayi was the Head of the Department between 2002 and 2006. Mr. C. O. Adebari was re-appointed as the Head of the Department between 2006 and 2010 Mr. B. O. Ifenowo became the Head of the Department from 2010 to 2014. Subsequently, Mr. J. O. My research interest generally, is developing management models using management tools in solving contemporary business administration and management problems necessary for entrepreneurial skills. This area of research interest is classified as Contemporary Business Administration and Management. I have supervised projects at both National and Higher National Diploma levels and published in the following areas of contemporary business administration and management including Human Capital Development in Contemporary times Entrepreneurship, and Small/Medium Scale Business Management in Contemporary Nigeria

Summary of Profile

Mrs. Ezekiel Evelyn Ilamosi was born in South Ibie, Iyakpi-Auchi in Etsako West Local Government area of Edo State. She had her primary education at Egbado-South Local Government Primary School Ilaro and proceeded to Asakanran Grammar School, Ibese, Ogun State. An Alumnus of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, where she obtained National Diploma in Business Studies with Upper Credit. An Alumnus of University of Benin, Benin-City where she obtained B.Sc. (Hons) in Business Administration with Second Class Upper Division. A holder of M.Sc degree in Business and Applied Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. Presently, she is a lecturer with the Department of Business Administration and Management Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun state.

She has well over twelve (12) papers published in reputable Journals, over eighteen (18) conferences and seminars papers presented in and outside the shore of Nigeria and numerous workshops. She is the author of Small Scale Management textbook for tertiary institutions. She is a member of the following professional bodies and associations among which are Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) (Chartered), The Institute of Business Strategy, Associate Member, Nigerian Institute for Training and Development (NITAD).

She holds many administrative positions and belonged to several committee within her institution of primary assignment. An active member of CDA Ilaro and a catholic Christian by faith. She is happily married and blessed with children.
